Heart wrenching! Body of drowned Syrian child is washed up on Turkish beach


That unfortunately is the body of a Syrian child who apparently drowned in the sea as he & his family made their way by boat to the Greek Island of Kos. His body was found washed ashore this morning.

Enyeama pulls out of Nations Cup qualifier clash with Tanzania


Super Eagkes goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has pulled out of this Saturday's 2017 Nations Cup qualifier match against Tanzania billed for Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh confirmed the recent development at a press conference today and said Enyeama's withdrawal has complicated things for the team. Enyeama reportedly pulled out for personal reasons. Femi Thomas of Enyimba Football club is being tipped to replace Enyeama.

ICPC begins probe on Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Chima and Shema's government



The independent Corrupt Practices and other offences Commission (ICPC) have commenced investigations into the administrations of four past governors namely Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers, Sullivan Chime of Enugu, Ibrahim Shema of Katsina and Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano.

According to a source who spoke with Vanguard, a team of investigators departed the commission's headquarters in Abuja on Monday August 31st to the various states to investigate petitions over alleged misappropriation of funds and contract scam during the past governors administrations.

Artee group the operators of SPAR supermarket recently signed a lease agreement with Topwide Ventures Limited for 3000sqm space as the anchor tenant in the ongoing Mountview shopping centredeveloped in the heart of Lifecamp environment; Abuja. 




The 10,000sqm shopping mall is a joint venture development between Topwide ventures and Richards Infrastructures Limited and according to the managing director of Richards Ltd – Andy Morkah, the mall is projected to be concluded by the end of the first quarter of 2016.
