Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says one million poor Nigerians will be paid N5000 monthly as it has been appropriated for in the recently passed 2016 budget. In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo said N68.7 billion has been budget for this purpose.

FG and labor leaders to meet today over planned strike action against increased pump price
The Federal government, leaders of the Nigeria Labor Congress NLC and Trade Union allies will be meeting today May 16th to discuss on the planned strike action by the Labor congress. Man throws fuel on girl friend as she smoked, killing her
Authorities were called around 2:30 am on Sunday morning to report a fire that started in a room at the Lincoln Motel in the Philadelphia suburb of Bensalem in the US.
