(NIGERIAN SENATE)::Senate suspends proposed amendment of CCT, CCB, ACJA act



The senate at its plenary today agreed to suspend the proposed amendment of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) Act and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015. Many believed that the proposed amendment of these acts was in favor of Senate President Bukola Saraki who is presently on trial for alleged false declaration of asset.

The senate also agreed to step down the petition against Senator Kabiru Marafa who has always been against Saraki.

(STATE OF JOBLESSNESS) 705,352 Nigerians apply for 10,000 Police jobs

According to a statement by the Police Service Commission, barely three weeks after they opened the portal for applications, 705,352 applicants have sent in applications for just 10,000 vacancies.


The statement said '202,427 had successfully applied for the position of Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police', '169,446 for Cadet Inspector' & '333,479 as Constables'.
