The inauguration will take place today Tuesday September 1st in the Abidjan capital, Cote D'Ivoire. Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said President Mohammadu Buhari was operating as a president of the Northern Nigeria only, describing steps taken by the president since May 29, 2015 as tainted in ethnic and tribal colouration, which is inimical to the unity of Nigeria.

President Buhari joins other sports-loving Nigerians in applauding D'Tigers' exhilarating 74-65 victory over their Angolan opponents which also secured Nigeria's qualification for the men's basketball event at next year's Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.

History was made in the ongoing weekly MTN Project Fame West Africa 8.0 as Emmanuel Amos Anderson became the firstcontestant in the history of the competitionto be eliminated and then readmitted into the competition.
