Some unknown gunmen on wednesday abducted another priest of the Catholic Diocese of Auchi, Edo State.

The priest, identified as Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adorolo, was reportedly kidnapped along Auchi-Okpella highway.

Confirming the news at a press conference in Auchi, the Catholic Bishop of Auchi Diocese, Most Rev. Gabriel Dunia, said the priest was kidnapped along the Auchi-Okpella highway, Wednesday evening.
