FG and labor leaders to meet today over planned strike action against increased pump price
The Federal government, leaders of the Nigeria Labor Congress NLC and Trade Union allies will be meeting today May 16th to discuss on the planned strike action by the Labor congress. The labor leaders on Saturday May 14th gave FG till midnight of Tuesday May 17th to revert to the old pup price of petrol of N86.50 or face a total strike that may begin on Wednesday May 18th.
Man throws fuel on girl friend as she smoked, killing her
Authorities were called around 2:30 am on Sunday morning to report a fire that started in a room at the Lincoln Motel in the Philadelphia suburb of Bensalem in the US. When they arrived they arrested and charged a 46 year old Philadelphia man, Kevin Small, after he confessed to throwing a cup of gasoline on his girlfriend, 46 year old Mellissa Bacon-Smith while she was smoking, starting a fire that killed her after a dispute between the two.

Prince's guitar to be auctioned in Beverly Hills
This photo above which was provided by Heritage Auctions shows a bright yellow guitar used by Prince. The guitar is going up for auction a high amount of money. Heritage Auctions is selling one of the "yellow cloud" electric guitars beginning June 24 with an opening bid of $30,000. The guitar was one of several custom guitars Prince used in the 1980s and 1990s.
The guitar features a serial number and comes with a letter of authenticity from Prince guitar technician Zeke Clark, who noted that the guitar's neck was broken in France in 1994 and later repaired.
