"Truth be told, it's not something we wanted to promote," said the singer. "We're a collective power together because our private life is sacred. But you know what though, maybe it's time. Alleged thief apprehended at Festac Town (photos)

The alleged thief was caught last night in a shop in Festac, Lagos. According to eye witnesses, the young man entered the shop pretending to buy Lacasera. He was told the shop doesn't sell the drink and as he made to leave, he took a phone, unfortunately for him someone saw him take a handset from the shop. Media aide to Gov Wike survives assassination attempt

Mr Opunabo Nko-Tariah, who is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Nyesom Wike, on thursday night escaped assassination attempt on his life.

The media aide told newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday that unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle at Israel Ama bridge in Asari Toru local government area and said he was still in awe at how he survived the shooting.

He said the arrays of gunshots shattered the windscreens of the car.
