Police to investigate Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu over alleged forged Senate rules
The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase,on Sunday summoned the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, over alleged forgery of the Senate Rules on election of its principal officers,the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said.
The PDP said Ekweremadu is expected to appear before a team of investigators at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Monday (today).

According to eye witnesses, this fatal accident happened on the bridge on the Benin-Lagos Bypass. It was caused by a white Mark head trailer who ran immediately the accident occurred. The Bus was a Toyota Hiace belonging to Oni Line, and was coming from Lagos. Many of the passengers were seriously injured while one person was confirmed dead at the scene. Sad! 44 people have been confirmed dead following a twin bomb blast that rocked the city of Jos, Plateau state yesterday night. The first explosion happened inside the Shagalinku restaurant located along Bauchi Road while the second one went off at Yantaya Mosque in Nassarawa Gwon area of the state. Muslim faithfuls were actually listening to an Islamic message when the bomb went off.

The speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Hon Mudashiru Obasa yesterday July 5th paid a visit to the Agege, Lagos home of Mrs Ruth Uche, the woman whose husband, Mr Citizen Emeka Uche, fled their home after learning they were expecting their third set of twins.
