17 yr old Pakistani education activist and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai, wrote a touching letter to missing Chibok girls to commemorate their 1 year in captivity. In the letter, Malala who was in Nigeria in July 2014, said she will never forget them and called on Nigerian and World leaders to do more towards the rescue of the kidnapped girls. PDP's Nyesom Wike wins Rivers Governorship election

PDP governorship candidate in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has been declared winner of the state governorship election. INEC's returning officer, Prof Faraday Oruwense announced the results this morning. He said Wike pulled a total of 1,029,102 votes to beat his main opponent, APC's Dakuku Peterside who had 124,896 votes.
